First Edition! Carnival of Martial Arts #1

I am pleased to welcome you to the first edition of the Carnival of Martial Arts. To avoid playing favorites, the submissions below are presented in the order of receipt.

Nathan Teodoro presents us with a post representative of his personal style, highlighting what can remain the same and, just as important, what must be modified when adapting Boxing for Self-Defense and MMA posted at TDA Training.

Rick Fryer kicks boxes, according to his daughter. Albert Foong offers tips on overcoming pain with Achieve Mental Toughness: Business, Romance, & Martial Arts posted at Urban Monk.

Dojo Rat looks back on his long years in TKD (seriously, look at the picture of young Dojo Rat he posts) and points out some of the shortcomings he has found in The Long and Short of Tae Kwon Do posted at Dojo Rat.

Praveen illuminates why the Tao (and Bruce Lee) tells us to “be like water” in Power Of Water posted at Tao of Simplicity.
